Who We Are
Elder-Aide consists of a team of accredited professionals with backgrounds in law, accounting, finance, real estate & social work. The Elder-Aide team has a special interest in the protection & the care of the elderly. The following services are available through Elder-Aide:
- Relocation services to seniors’ residences for autonomous/assisted living/long-term care;
- Real estate services;
- Financial counselling, estate planning, investment advice;
- Drafting and advice on wills, powers of attorney & mandates of incapacity;
- Appointment of a tutor, a curator or an advisor;
- Psychosocial assessments for homologation of mandates and private curatorships/tutorships
- Navigation through the Quebec Health & Social Service Network.

Bonnie Sandler
Bonnie Sandler is a graduate of the McGill University School of Social Work and is also a licensed Residential Real Estate Broker in Montreal.

Bonnie has a long track record of effectively assisting varied client groups and individuals to address all aspects of change in their lives – dealing with issues of loss, attachment, adjustment and new beginnings. She is especially known for her commitment to maximizing the wellbeing of the elderly.
As a Social Worker, she tirelessly represented the interests of seniors in our society as a practitioner, speaker and media contributor. Her lectures about dementia were widely acclaimed. Her column in the Senior Times, “Let’s Talk About It” ran for many years. She also worked with New Canadians transitioning to into the community.
As a Residential Real Estate Broker, Bonnie not only is working as a housing specialist for seniors but readily assists new and repeat buyers and vendors of all ages to fulfill their needs. She prides herself on offering personalized and seamless service. She has built a reputation as one who can be trusted to provide comprehensive guidance with honest empathy and absolute integrity.

Glen Marcotte
Glen Marcotte retired from active social work in 2020. His work settings included the Home Care Department and the AIDS Intervention Centre of CLSC Metro.
Glen Marcotte retired from active social work in 2020. His work settings included the Home Care Department and the AIDS Intervention Centre of CLSC Metro. As a Community Outreach Worker, he established a street-based Harm Reduction programme in Calgary. Mr. Marcotte is the volunteer president of EBM in Montreal. He is an active volunteer in the CRA/Revenue QC Income Tax Assistance Volunteer Programme since 2007. The dignity and agency of the elderly person is at the heart of Mr. Marcotte’s professional and volunteer work.
He is able to provide information on how to navigate through the Quebec Health & Social Service Network.
